LEGAL & DISCLAIMER

Please read these notices carefully. They explain the limits and responsibilities that apply when you use Local Bonita.

Last updated September 30, 2026

1. Independent, unofficial local guide

Local Bonita (the “Site”) is an independently operated informational website about Bonita, California. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or acting for San Diego County, any government agency, school, healthcare provider, shopping center, restaurant, retailer, employer, venue, event organizer, or other organization referenced here.

Names, logos, trademarks, and business names belong to their respective owners and are used only for identification and description. Their appearance does not imply a partnership, sponsorship, or endorsement in either direction.

2. Information is provided “as is”

Listings, descriptions, photos, reviews, ratings, hours, phone numbers, websites, maps, directions, fuel prices, events, menus, prices, and other content are general information compiled from Google and other public or third-party sources. Information may be incomplete, delayed, outdated, or incorrect.

Always verify important details directly with the business, venue, provider, or organizer before traveling, purchasing, booking, or making plans. We make no express or implied warranty of accuracy, completeness, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement.

3. Listings, reviews, gas prices, and paid placement

A listing does not mean we have inspected, licensed, approved, or recommended that business. Ratings and reviews are supplied by third parties and represent their authors’ views. Gas prices can change at any time and may differ at the pump; confirm the posted station price before buying.

Businesses may claim listings or purchase enhanced placement. Paid or featured status affects presentation, not our independent judgment, and is not a guarantee of quality, availability, results, or customer satisfaction. Businesses remain solely responsible for their offers, statements, products, services, and legal compliance.

4. Not professional advice

Nothing on the Site is legal, financial, tax, investment, real-estate, insurance, medical, nutritional, employment, immigration, accessibility, or safety advice. Nothing creates a professional, fiduciary, provider-patient, or advisor-client relationship. Consult an appropriately licensed professional and official sources before acting.

5. Third-party links, maps, photos, and videos

The Site embeds or links to third-party websites, Google business information, maps, media, and YouTube videos that we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability, pricing, products, conduct, safety, accessibility, data collection, advertising, or privacy practices. Third-party services may set cookies or collect usage information under their own terms.

6. Assumption of risk

Activities described here—including driving, dining, trails, parks, golf, equestrian activities, public events, and outdoor recreation—carry inherent risks. You participate at your own risk and remain responsible for your safety, transportation, supervision of minors, insurance, physical suitability, and compliance with laws and posted rules.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Local Bonita and its owners, operators, contributors, and suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business; or personal injury or property damage arising from your use of, inability to use, or reliance on the Site, its content, a listed business, or any third party.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability for all claims is limited to US $100. Nothing here excludes fraud, willful misconduct, or liability that California law does not permit us to limit.

8. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Local Bonita and its operators from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and reasonable legal fees arising from your use of the Site, your submissions, your violation of these notices or the Terms of Use, or your violation of law or third-party rights.

9. Copyright, corrections, and removal requests

To report suspected copyright or trademark infringement, an inaccurate listing, or a requested removal, use our contact form and select the matching topic. Include the exact page address, identify the material, and explain your good-faith basis and authority to act. Valid requests are reviewed in order and do not guarantee removal where use is lawful.

10. Governing law and changes

These notices are governed by California law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes must be brought exclusively in state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California. If one provision is unenforceable, the rest remains effective. We may revise this page; continued use after an update means you accept the revised version.

11. How to reach us

We do not publish an email address. Send legal, correction, removal, privacy, accessibility, press, owner-support, or general inquiries through our contact form.
