PRIVACY POLICY
We limit what we collect and use it to operate Local Bonita, respond to requests, and protect the Site.
Last updated September 30, 2026
1. Information you provide
Our contact form collects your name, reply address, selected topic, optional page address, message, consent confirmation, and submission time. Owner accounts and claims may also contain sign-in details, contact information, role, phone number, business selection, and claim message. We use this information to respond, verify requests, manage claims, keep records, and protect against abuse.
Please do not submit government identifiers, financial account details, health information, precise location, passwords, or other sensitive information.
2. Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting and service providers may process device and browser information, approximate location derived from an internet address, requested pages, referring pages, timestamps, diagnostics, and security events. We use this to deliver the Site, prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, understand broad usage, and maintain security.
3. Third-party services
Google provides business details, photos, ratings, reviews, maps, and fuel information. YouTube supplies embedded videos. These providers may receive technical information when their content loads and may use cookies or similar technology under their own policies. Following external links also subjects you to the destination’s privacy practices.
4. Cookies and local storage
Essential cookies or browser storage may keep you signed in, preserve security state, remember preferences, and support basic functionality. Third-party embedded content may use its own technologies. You can control storage through browser settings, but disabling it may prevent sign-in or other features from working.
5. How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share information only with providers that host, secure, authenticate, maintain, or help operate the Site; when needed to respond to your request; to investigate abuse; during a lawful business transfer; or when required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety.
6. Retention and security
We keep contact and claim records as long as reasonably needed to respond, document requests, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, meet legal obligations, and prevent repeat abuse. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
7. California privacy rights
Depending on applicable law, California residents may request access, correction, deletion, or information about handling of their personal information, and may appeal or complain about a response. We do not discriminate for exercising privacy rights. Submit a Privacy request; we may need to verify identity and authority before acting.
8. Children and external audiences
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child submitted information, use the contact form. The Site is operated for a California community; information may be processed in the United States.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as services or laws change. The date above identifies the current version. We do not publish an email address. Submit privacy questions or rights requests through our contact form.
