I'm pro small business so I'm not really into bashing one but as much as I would like to offer a glowing review it wouldn't be true. So it's just a recap of a reunion/birthday meal with a longtime friend. Food was good and service wasn't terrible. The only issue was when we waited quite a while for our check which we didn't mind since it afforded us extra time catching up. We noticed we were sitting up until the 3:00 closing time. We were the last table occupied and were getting looks and stares from antsy staff. With a minute to 3:00...finally a guy approached and asked in a not so friendly tone "do you need anything? We are about to close". We said we've been waiting for a check and he abruptly walked away to tell our server whose reaction was as if she realized she never gave us one. She hustled the key pad over to us (with a pre programmed minimum of 18%) and we left with a not so welcoming or appreciative feeling. Not a great first impression and likely be the last impression is how I'll leave it.
Ube latte was perfection! I did not expect that from a restaurant that doesn’t specialize in coffee.
My daughter swears by the birria tacos. She says it’s the best she’s ever had! Lol I’ve always gotten something on the brunch menu like French toast, pancakes, eggs, bacon and sausage. It’s truly becoming my favorite brunch spot in Bonita.
Came here for Sunday brunch. Parking was hard to find. Almost gave up and left until I saw a group leaving the restaurant and stalked them to their parking spot. Wait was 15 minutes per the hostess but it was actually 30 minutes. Server took our coffee order. That was the only highlight of the day. I ordered the steak benedict and eggs were cooked perfectly but the steak not so much and the hollandaise sauce was mediocre. Our server barely checked in us and had to flag someone to give us water. This is a one-and-done place for me.
I recently discovered a charming hidden gem in Bonita, and as someone who loves exploring new places to share with family and friends, I couldn't resist trying it out after my son’s baseball game.
The staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome without any rush, even though they were closing in an hour. My little one, who is on the autism spectrum, had a small meltdown during our visit, but the staff was incredibly accommodating. They even provided a high chair for my toddler, who was also a bit fussy at the time. We truly enjoyed the food and appreciated the excellent customer service. Despite the chaos of two kiddos having meltdowns, we left with smiles and are already looking forward to returning.
Came here for Father's Day and only waited 15min to be seated. The place is beautiful and the staff are nice. The food was really good but definitely on the smaller to normal portion size. We did have to wait a while for our food to arrived and when it did, some of it was cold. That was the only downside. There's plenty of parking in the plaza. The bathrooms were clean.
