It really surprised me, I always see tons of people in line waiting to enter this place. And the food was just not ok. The coffee was ok. The service was great, great people serving. But the place it's dirty, inside and outside. We are not coming back. But again the waitresses great!

The place is very clean. We noticed immediately that they do make an effort in keeping clean and neat atmosphere. The portions of food are generous and the attention to detail is the dishes it's outstanding. We ordered a mix of breakfast and lunch and it didn't dissapoint, the food was delicious. Unfortunately our waiter was not the nicest, he seem to be rushing us, he was late to provide refills and brought us to go boxes before we finish eating, no one in our table asked for that, and we barely were halfway through our plates. He was very chatty to the table next to us who seem to be regular clients, that makes us think maybe he simply didn't liked us, we had a person in a wheelchair maybe we were too much in the way?. No one likes to be rush during breakfast. Maybe order to go is a better call.

Perfect spot before our flight back to Texas. Host and waitress are the best. Always attentive to our needs. Will come back again on our next visit to San Diego.

The food is delicious and the service is superb. Our waiter was so nice, helpful and fun to talk to. I had the corned beef hash, I appreciate that they give you three eggs instead of two. I have a nostalgic love for canned corned beef hash, I’m a little disappointed when I get big chunks of meat and potatoes. This is a homemade take on canned corned beef hash, and they nailed it, my wife even liked it. Hash browns were crispy on the outside and moist in the middle. I got the biscuit, this thing was almost as big as my head. I figured it was going to be dry because it was so big, it was not. The inside was so moist, but not undercooked. My wife and I shared it, they serve it with butter and honey. My wife got the shrimp omelette with homestyle potatoes and the pancakes. Everything was so good, we especially loved the pancakes. Go out of your way to find this place, you won’t be disappointed.

I really like this place. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was nostalgic. The oldies playing was a nice touch. I highly recommend coming here. You will love it.
